Gov. Hochul Extends HERO Act Protocols Until 12/15/21

COVID-19 still considered highly contagious, communicable threat

Gov. Kathy Hochul, in conjunction with the commissioner of the NYS Department of Health, has decided to extend HERO Act protocols until December 15, 2021. Now, ALL EMPLOYERS will be REQUIRED to follow strict standards and put a prevention plan into action.

NOTE: Further guidance is expected to be released soon by NYSDOL regarding Safety Committee provisions. The Empire State Chapter will share this information with members as soon as it is available.
