The outreach committee is collecting items for the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support) for Desert Wind Middle School. There is a bin next to the bins for the Food Bank and Women’s Shelter at our front entrance. We will be collecting items the students can receive by turning in their PBIS tickets as they receive them weekly from their teachers. They get these tickets for exhibiting positive behavior. They can spend them at the “Tiger Trolley” at the end of each week. The items include: Gatorade, chips, crackers and popcorn (all single serve), school supplies like pens, markers, pencils, and small fidget items (poppers and squishy balls). We will have samples of these items at our entrance so you can get an idea of what to donate. Thank you!!!

Thank you for sharing God's gifts of your time, talents, and treasures this past year! Because of your generosity, our ministry in the name of Christ continues to go out into the community and the world. It was great to be able to worship together in-person. Last year we welcomed 24 new members and 2 associate members. We also baptized 2 children and confirmed 3 youth. God is good! All the time! We can't wait to see what God is up to in 2022!
End of year financial statements are available on Breeze. When you click on your name, there will be a column for “giving,” click on that and you will see your giving for the year.
|
Breeze is our on-line church directory. If you have not established an account, please click on the button below "Breeze Signup." Once there, request an “invite” to Breeze. After signing up and receiving an invite, log into Breeze as described above.

Prayer For The Week
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
O Lord our God, who is always more ready to bestow Your good gifts upon us than we are to seek them, and Who is more willing to give more than we desire or deserve: help me, and those who pray with me, so to seek You that we may truly find You, so to ask that we may joyfully receive, so to knock that the door of Your mercy may be opened for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Volunteers Needed at the Food Bank
|
Please consider coming out and having some fun with us at the foodbank. If you are already helping, perhaps you could reach out to friends or acquaintances to see if they might be interested also. We need help in almost every area. Children over 16 are welcome to come help out with or without a parent alongside them as a good community service activity. We work inside and hand out food at a drive-thru window, so it’s a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. You may consider helping one day a week or once a month:
- Mondays 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- Thursdays 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Monday thru Saturday you could go out on the truck and help pick up food in our community.
We would love to see you so let us know when you are available and we will get you signed up! Phone number is 520-251-0226 or come visit the Blue Barn business building at 19428 N. Maricopa Road.
