We have been busy!
The 2020 Louisiana legislative session begins Monday, March 9. With 45 new representatives (out of 105), it is sure to be a busy session.
I have pre-filed
16 bills
, on a variety of issues. I am excited to work with Power Coalition and Fair Districts LA to expand
vote by mail
to ALL Louisiana voters. Given what is happening in our world right now, this is a particularly timely bill.
Since my last email, we have officially moved into our state office. We're located at 2725 S. Broad, and are planning to have an open house in the coming months with some of our new neighbors. If you would like to request a meeting during Friday office hours, please email

. I'm running for the Orleans Parish Democratic Committee - 14 people will be chosen from city council district B - if you see my name, please vote for me.
