Apple is About to Start Messing With Your Email Open Rates!!!
If you are looking for email "privacy", start using Apple Mail on your Apple devices. You will not only be able to hide your email address, but Apple will open your emails and check for marketing pixels if you permit them. This is not good news for those who rely on open rates to gauge eNewsletter and eBlast marketing stats.

Apple will be opening all of the emails that come through, which will flag them as being opened even though the person never saw the contents. So, open rates are about to skyrocket because 45-50% of emails users are on this platform.

U.S. Postal Rates Expected to Increase
As part of “Delivering for America,” its 10-year plan to achieve financial sustainability and service excellence, the United States Postal Service filed a notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) requesting price changes.

The proposed price changes would raise overall Market Dominant product and service prices by approximately 6.9 percent. First-Class Mail prices would increase by 6.8 percent. 1oz. Letters will go up from $0.55 to $0.58. Domestic Postcards would go from $0.38 to $0.40 each.

The United States Postal Service requested the price change to take effect Aug. 29, 2021
