Giving Tuesday 2023

November 28, 2023

Dear Friends:

Over the past few years, we have all been reminded of both the importance and delicate nature of our emotional well-being. This time has been particularly challenging for young people and we have seen the devasting impact on youth, with more than 2.7 million youth across the nation experiencing severe major depression. Many of them do not have access to the care they need and deserve.

The Association for Mental Health and Wellness believes that every young person deserves to have timely and appropriate access to care. We need your help to make this a reality for Suffolk County's youth!

Imagine a future where every child in our community thrives, and families have access to the information and resources needed to support the behavioral and physical needs of their youngest family members.

The Association for Mental Health and Wellness is on a mission to make this vision a reality for over 350,000 children and teens living in Suffolk County, NY. But we can't do it without your support.

Today, Giving Tuesday, November 28, please make a contribution to the Association for Mental Health and Wellness, so we can provide mental and emotional support and education to these young people and those who care about them.

Did you know? . . . Families often struggle to navigate the complex world of educational support for children with special needs. We're here to educate and empower these families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to excel. This past year we helped over 550 families navigate the complex intersection of social and emotional learning to ensure their school-aged child had the support they needed to thrive emotionally and academically.

Your impact starts now! By donating to the Association for Mental Health and Wellness, you are supporting hope, health, and a brighter future. Every dollar counts in our fight to uplift and transform the lives of young individuals. Let's make a real difference together.

Together, we can ensure that no child in Suffolk County faces these challenges alone. Your generosity can light the path to a brighter future. Thank you for making mental health and emotional support a priority and investing in life-saving services!

Sincerely,
