What is Fasting?

Lent invites us into something deeper than a season. It is a whole-body response to life's serious & sacred moments.

At the heart of fasting is making space. As we lay down distractions, habits, or comforts that shape our desires, we create room to return to God with clarity and intention.

Lent is not about restriction for its own sake, but about renewal - a quiet re-centering on what is real, lasting, and life-giving. And above all, God's outcome to control.

New to Fasting?

Join our Slow Saturday: a time of fasting and prayer on March 21, 10-1 pm at St. Paul's.

This restorative time apart will be led by one of our Ministry Apprentice’s, Jeff Phail.

You can learn more and register below.

Part of our Rhythm of Life is Prayer and Study, and we want to equip you to engage with the most transformative book in the world – the Bible!

You might be new to faith and have never read the Bible before, or a long-time follower of Jesus who has lots of questions.

Celebrating Tiffany Robinson's Ordination

With joy and gratitude, we celebrate Tiffany Robinson as she is ordained as a priest in the Anglican Church. This is a significant and holy milestone - not only in Tiffany's life and calling, but in the life of our whole church community.

We give thanks for her faithfulness, leadership, and heart for God's people, and we pray for her as she steps into this next chapter of ministry.

Join us at St. Paul's on March 14 at 4 PM to celebrate Tiffany.

Discover the MAP Program at St. Paul’s

At St. Paul’s, we believe leadership is formed, not assumed.

Our Ministry Apprentice Program (MAP) creates space for emerging leaders to be mentored, trained, and stretched in real ministry contexts. It’s one of the ways we invest in the future of the Church - and the renewal of our city. We are so grateful for the faithful donors at St. Paul’s who have made MAP possible.

We asked you this Advent - You answered

St. Paul’s Advent Ask was generosity in motion: you didn't just reach the $60,000 goal - you surpassed $84,000 and a matching gift doubled it - $170,000! That's real support for both spiritual and practical needs in Tanzania, and for the churches in Biharamulo!

Thank you!

Don’t miss it - this could be the weekend that changes everything.

Your Gift at Work

Giving is one of the core rhythms of the Christian life. As we follow Jesus, generosity shapes us - turning our hearts outward in love toward God and neighbour. Through our acts of giving, we participate in God’s work in our church, our city, and beyond. Thank you for making generosity part of your Rhythm of Life.
