Hey there, Myriad Gardens Volunteers!

It's a pleasure to introduce myself as your new Volunteer Coordinator for the Myriad Botanical Gardens. With over a year of experience as the Rentals Coordinator, I've had the opportunity to learn a ton about the Gardens including the beautiful locations, the seasonal blooms, hardworking staff, exciting events, and the wonderful visitors.

One of my top priorities is to keep our communication flowing so we can stay up-to-date and connected. To kick off this initiative, I'll be sending out a regularly scheduled email newsletter which will be the first step in our journey to build a strong volunteer community!

Warmest regards,

Morgan Link

May Volunteer Opportunities

Horticulture Staff Needs Help

We need volunteers for our horticulture team for three-hour shifts. Help make a difference in your community and get your hands dirty. No tools necessary; our staff will provide them. If you have gloves, knee pads, or hand shovels, bring them along. To join, enter through the south lobby and ask the front desk associate for guidance. Our horticulture team members will assign you a task.

Reading Wednesday Help

Are you free on Wednesday mornings? Do you love working with children? If so, come and volunteer for our education program for kids. It's best for ages 2-5 years old but we welcome siblings too. Our long-dedicated volunteer Georgia Lamirand has been heading up this program and does a wonderful job and could use some assistance. Reading Wednesday is a fun-filled session that includes reading a book based on that week's theme and a hands-on craft activity. You'll love being a part of this exciting and educational initiative!

Children's Gardening Fair June 3 & 4

Come have some fun in the sun with us at the first-ever Children's Gardening Fair! We are looking for 12 volunteers to help us run educational stations for kids and teach them all about plants and gardening. The fair will be held at the Children's Garden on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4.

Each shift will only be 4 hours long, so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your weekend while making a difference in the lives of young garden enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this opportunity to plant the seeds of knowledge in the minds of the next generation. Join us today!

Volunteer of the Month Coming Soon!

We just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for all the hard work you put in at the Myriad Botanical Gardens. You are all superheroes and we truly appreciate you more than words can say.

To show our thanks, we will be selecting a "Volunteer of the Month" every month through a random drawing. If you volunteered your time here at the Gardens in the previous month, you will automatically be entered!
