The HEAT is On! Sales are Buring as Hot as the Weather in Florida.
So, this summer was an unusually busy one in sales for us. Not even the high 100+ temperatures cooled off the Treasure Coast sales market. The biggest demand we had is for residential housing, then yearly and season rentals and that is followed by commercial and retail space transactions.
Who is moving to the Sunshine State in general and the Treasure Coast in particular? Well, everyone it seems. And now, with many people working from home -- we have a new influx of the "middle year" buyers -- with families and lives that they are transplanting here. Retirees are a mainstay -- so many tax benefits still in Florida, that seem to drive people who are estate planning conscious as well.
Statistically -- we believe nearly 1,500 people a day are moving into Florida. That is a big number. And that means that prices are stable, inventory is a little on the low side and builders continue to build new homes. When looking at the Florida real estate market versus the country and different sectors (northeast, northwest, central areas), Florida and the Southeast continue to grow and expand while other areas are experiencing a slight downturn.
Just today as I type this -- the weather is cooler, and the rain is coming down and we know the extreme temperatures may be abating for and upcoming season of fun in the sun. Please come visit and consider a move. Florida still has great real estate values -- and your dollars do seem to stretch a bit further here.
Our team of licensed professionals are ready and able to handle home, land, business and building transactions for you.
Sincerely,
