Carnevali Foundation will Adopt a

New School in 2025!

We are excited to announce the adoption of a new school in 2025: MPPS Gajularamaram, in the Malakjgiri District in Hyderabad, India.

Adopting a new school means working with the Hyderabad Education Office, who recommends schools that need renovation and ongoing support. Radhika, Carnevali Foundation Director, and Chandrasekar, Operations Manager, conduct numerous site visits to various schools to determine the feasibility of a successful project.

This usually means capacity to construct a boundary wall and gate, water access, sufficient ground area that is buildable (ensuring big boulders can be removed), and agreement with the Headmaster.

Below see details of the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) signed by Radhika on behalf of Carnevali Foundation.

Improvements to come at MMPS Gajularamaram School

Building Needs

The building shown above is in need of many repairs including mildew removal and wall repairs. The team will contact vendors who will submit bids to complete the renovations.

Assessing Renovations

Radhika and Chandrasekr make many site visits to determine the extent of the renovations. They are considering adding a second floor to the building to increase classrooms.

Reverse Osmosis System

Clean water initiatives will include installation of a Reverse Osmosis System, non-potable water piped to toilets and potable water piped to drinking stations. Non-potable water will be used for cleaning and watering of trees.

Play Yard to Come

Once construction of the building is complete, the next step will be excavation of the play yard area and possible addition of a playground.
