ISD Members Library News

We are planning to update and revitalize our Members Only Library and need interested members to join a Library Committee. Our library has books on psychic issues, near death experiences, channeling, angels and much more. A committee member would be expected to attend occasional meetings in person or on Zoom to share and discuss ideas. Anyone who would like to be on the Library Committee or would like to give ideas to improve the library please contact Carol Callahan at casacks@gmail.com

The board for the Institute for Spiritual Development usually meets on the first Sunday of the month on the same zoom link that the Sunday service meets on. Decisions concerning the direction and finances for ISD are made. If you have suggestions for ISD, please contact our board president, Kimberly Winsor, at kimberlyawinsor@gmail.com. All are welcome to attend as guests, but don't have the same privilege of voting on ISD business that Board Members have.

This week starts off active.

3/09 - MERCURY moves into Aries.

3/10 - NEW MOON in Pisces 

3/11 - VENUS moves into Pisces 

3/13 - NORTH NODE stations direct for a few days in Aries

MERCURY is very happy in Aries. Keen intellect finds youthful fire. It is a potent combination that bodes well for new creation. Perhaps you've had a dream rattling around in the attic waiting for just the right boost to help it flower. MERCURY will be in Pisces when both the Lunar Eclipse on 3/25, and the Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse on 4/08 come around. Think of the possibilities. This transit is particularly long since the year's first Mercury retrograde happens while it is in Pisces. 

The NEW MOON in Pisces is at 5:00 am on 3/10. You can probably guess the theme. Anything unusual, esoteric, mystical, etc. is favored. It would be in any case but now you have a powerful stellium of the Sun, Moon, Saturn, and Neptune, with Venus right on the cusp of Pisces. That is a great deal of creative energy at our disposal. 

VENUS moves into Pisces on 3/11 until 4/04. Venus is exalted in this sign, meaning she is in one of her most powerful positions. Add everything that is beautiful and graceful to mystical and ethereal. Throw in a stellium that includes NEPTUNE in its ruling position in Pisces with the approaching eclipses. Do you see a pattern? Great potential looms on the horizon.

There is one more astrological point affecting this series of movements. That is the NORTH NODE of the Moon. Close to these changes will be a short time when the North Node is stationary, then moves direct for a few days, unlike its usual retrograde motion. This is a common enough event, as it happens each month. What makes this more potent is the proximity to the other auspicious alignments mentioned above. The few days when the nodes are direct allow for added emphasis on their themes. The North Node has a Jupiter flavor. It is positive and forward looking. This gives us a window of opportunity. May we use it well! 

You may remember that I've discussed the natural ebb and flow of astrological energies. The square aspects of last week are followed by the tremendous potential of the alignments this week. I will leave you with this thought. Prepare for the coming eclipse season and the new Solar cycle around the zodiac when it moves into Aries soon. Expect good things for yourself and each other. May we all find our Godspeed.

There are classes, services, events, and a sense of community and fellowship. Energy healing and intuitive messages are delivered as a regular part of the worship service. Classes offer many tools which will help you on your life path, and the community we are creating together is one of openness and acceptance, and the ability to adapt with change and growth.
