Community Partnership Highlight

During their annual agency volunteer day, "Saatchi Good Day," a dedicated team of employees from Saatchi & Saatchi Dallas joined forces with Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region. While visiting Cigarroa Elementary School in Dallas ISD, they learned of an urgent need for warm clothing among the students. Embracing their motto, "Nothing is Impossible," they successfully rallied to donate over 250 essential items, including coats, socks, and hats, significantly replenishing the school's coat closet.

We are grateful to this team for their involvement with our drive, and the difference it makes in the lives of our students! Do you want to support students in need? Click below to learn how you or your business can help us be #AllInForKids!

Fostering Vision and Growth:

Lunch Group Creates Vision Boards for 2025

At Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region, empowering students to succeed academically and personally is a cornerstone of our mission. This month, Site Coordinator Cioralisse hosted an inspiring activity with her Lunch Group, helping students bring their future into focus—literally!

Students gathered to create vision boards for 2025. This activity encouraged them to reflect on their goals, aspirations, and values while fostering creativity and self-expression. Scrapbooking materials were spread out, and the room buzzed with collaboration as students pieced together their hopes and dreams for the year ahead.

Activities like the vision board project seamlessly integrate social and emotional learning into students' daily routines. By setting clear goals and visualizing their paths forward, students are better prepared to face challenges with resilience and purpose. As these students look ahead to 2025, their vision boards stand as colorful reminders of their potential and the supportive community that believes in their success.
