Share Your Insights on Jobsite Safety

NIA is assisting CPWR–The Center for Construction Research and Training and Dodge Construction Network with the dissemination of a new study focused on jobsite safety, and your input is essential to include the mechanical insulation industry. This survey will help track trends in safety practices across the U.S. construction industry and should take about 12 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and your responses are strictly confidential. Responses will never be linked to your name or company and will only be reported in aggregate (averages, percentages, or charts). All data is stored in a password-protected database accessible only to analysts at Dodge Construction Network. If you complete the survey, you’ll have the option to receive a summary report of the findings.

Click here to take the survey by Nov. 21. Thank you for helping the mechanical insulation industry continue to prioritize and improve safety.

From CPWR: Construction Noise & Hearing Loss Prevention Research & Resources

An estimated half of all construction workers experience job-related hearing problems. Fall Summit 2023 Keynote Speaker Jessica Bunting of CPWR joins panelists to discuss this serious and under-addressed issue in a webinar on Nov. 13 at 1:00 PM ET. Click to learn more and register.

Related to health and safety education, stay tuned for the next issue of Insulation Outlook to read more about improving safety culture by promoting near-miss reporting, which was the presentation topic at NIA’s Health & Safety Committee’s recent meeting at Fall Summit.
