22 April marked International Mother Earth Day, which recognises the Earth and its ecosystems as humanity’s common home and the need to protect it, to improve people’s livelihoods, counter climate change and halt the collapse of biodiversity.
On this occasion, we recall Solidarity with South Sudan‘s commitment to promoting eco-sustainability through our projects, in line with the precepts of the Encyclical Laudato Sì. In particular, the Sustainable Agriculture Project implemented in Riimenze offers a model of sustainable agricultural development, aimed at favouring the use and development of local resources with minimal environmental impact, promoting biodiversity and fostering ecological education. This year the Sustainable Agriculture Project really needs your help!
