Celebrate Independence Day in Vista on July 4

Friday, July 4, 2025 | Brengle Terrace Park & Moonlight Amphitheatre

Vista’s biggest celebration of the year is back! Join us on Friday, July 4, for the 57th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Brengle Terrace Park and the Moonlight Amphitheatre. Park gates open at 7 am, and the Amphitheatre opens at 5 pm. Admission to the Moonlight Amphitheatre is $5 per person, with tickets available at the entrance starting at 5 pm. Fireworks begin at 9 pm.

Enjoy live entertainment from The Cassie B Project starting at 7:35 pm and again after the fireworks. Known for delivering high-energy performances and top 40 hits, Cassie B and her five-piece band will keep the party going.

The Vista City Council will take the stage at 7:15 pm for a special presentation.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase through Bread and Cheese Eatery at the Amphitheatre. Guests may bring in their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Outside chairs are allowed on the upper hill only; chairs are provided inside. Alcohol may not be brought in but is available for purchase on site at the Moonlight. No pets, BBQs, candles, or open flames are allowed.

Public Safety Reminder

All fireworks are illegal in Vista—including “safe and sane” types. Fireworks can cause fires, injuries, and fines. Help us keep Vista safe and leave fireworks to the professionals.

If you’re attending, please leave pets at home and secure them indoors. Fireworks can be distressing to animals and may cause them to escape.

Rideshare Advisory

Rideshare services will be impacted by street closures and traffic congestion. If you use Uber, Lyft, etc., expect delays. There are no pickup areas within the park. You may need to walk to a nearby intersection like Vale Terrace Drive & Williamston Street or E. Vista Way to meet your driver. Plan ahead.

Additional Information

  • RVs must park at the McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive.
  • Additional restrooms will be available throughout the park.
  • There is no radio simulcast for the fireworks.
  • View the Moonlight Amphitheatre parking map for details.
  • There are no parking fees this year to park in Brengle Terrace Park.
  • Vale Terrace Drive will be closed on July 4 starting at 8:30 pm.

Let’s make it a safe and memorable Fourth of July.
