The City of Vista invites residents to actively participate in shaping the future of our community by attending the Community Action Planning Sessions for Vista’s Age-Friendly Plan. These sessions provide a key opportunity to share insights, contribute ideas, and help create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all ages.

City of Vista Offices Closed for President's Day


The City's offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, in observance of President’s Day. Emergency services will operate as normal and City parks will be open regular hours.

Vista Fire Department to Offer Free Blood Pressure Screenings for Seniors


On Friday, February 14, the Vista Fire Department will be at the McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive, providing free blood pressure screenings for seniors. The event will take place from 10 am to 12 pm and is open to all older adults in the community. This is a great opportunity for seniors to monitor their heart health. No appointment is necessary—just stop by and take advantage of this free service.

Joy Walkers Meet Every Wednesday


Looking for a fun and healthy way to enjoy the outdoors? The McClellan Senior Center invites Vista seniors to join a weekly walk along the scenic Vista Conservancy Trail every Wednesday at 1 p.m. Participants will meet at the McClellan Senior Center before setting off. Whether you’re looking to stay active, make new friends, or simply enjoy the fresh air, this walk is a great way to connect with the community. Dog lovers are encouraged to bring their furry companions—leashed dogs are welcome to join the stroll! No registration is required. Just show up and be ready to take a leisurely walk!
