Moonlight's Season Finale: "The Prince of Egypt"

September 10-27, 2025 • 7:30 pm

Moonlight Stage Productions closes its 2025 summer season with the California premiere of the West End smash “The Prince of Egypt.”

Based on the Book of Exodus and featuring songs from DreamWorks’ acclaimed 1998 animated film, this spectacular production will transport audiences to Ancient Egypt with soaring music and breathtaking dance. Experience the saga of Moses and Ramses, two young men raised as brothers in a kingdom of privilege, suddenly divided by a secret past. One must rule as Pharaoh; the other, exiled, returns to free his people from the bonds of slavery.

From the plagues of Egypt to the parting of the Red Sea, “The Prince of Egypt” is an inspiring tale of resilience and hope. The show features an award-winning score by Stephen Schwartz, including “Through Heaven’s Eyes,” “Deliver Us,” and the Academy Award-winning song, “When You Believe.”
