K-RAIL PLACEMENT &

TEMPORARY PAVING


WHAT:

Crews continue placing k-rail along northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) I-5 and will carry out activities for temporary paving. Nighttime full ramp closures and freeway lane closures on NB and SB I-5 will be necessary starting as early as 10 p.m. Friday night, March 20, and continuing intermittently until 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 28.


At least one lane in each freeway and surface street direction will be open to traffic at all times, unless otherwise specified. See closures section below for more information. *

*Freeway lane closures will occur regularly throughout the duration of the project’s construction.

RAMP & FREEWAY LANE CLOSURES

10 p.m. Friday night, March 20 to 
5 a.m. Saturday morning, March 21

  • NB and SB I-5 Tustin Ranch Road on- and- off- ramps
  • NB and SB I-5 Outside lanes at Tustin Ranch Road

 

10 p.m. Monday night, March 23 to 
5 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 24

  • SB I-5 Tustin Ranch Road on- and- off- ramps
  • SB I-5 Two outside lanes between Red Hill Avenue and Tustin Ranch Road


10 p.m. Tuesday night, March 24 to 
5 a.m. Wednesday morning, March 25

  • SB I-5 Culver Drive on- and- off- ramps
  • SB I-5 Two outside lanes between Jamboree Road and Jeffrey Road


10 p.m. Wednesday night, March 25 to 
5 a.m. Thursday morning, March 26

  • SB I-5 Culver Drive on- and- off- ramps
  • SB I-5 Two outside lanes between Jamboree Road and Jeffrey Road


10 p.m. Thursday night, March 26 to

5 a.m. Friday morning, March 27

  • SB I-5 Culver Drive on- and- off- ramps
