Deadwood Blues Festival
This three-day, citywide event will celebrate blues music from July 11-13, 2025. There will be over a dozen local, regional and national blues bands playing at venues across town, ending with a concert by Samantha Fish and Christone âKingfishâ Ingram at Outlaw Square.

Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk
This half marathon is held annually, with proceeds going to the Northern Hills Area CASA Program. CASA, which stands for court appointed special advocates, serves abused and neglected children who need another voice. Northern Hills CASA serves eight counties in western South Dakota.

Days of â76 Rodeo and Parades

The legendary Days of â76 rodeo and parade is July 22-26, 2025, at the Days of â76 Event Complex in Deadwood.
Join us for 5 nights of PRCA rodeo fun, which includes historic re-enactments and memorable entertainment in between events where you can watch the best cowboys and cowgirls in the business compete. Themed nights include Family Night on Tuesday, July 22; Military and First Responder Appreciation Day on Wednesday, July 21; and Tri-State Livestock News Night on Thursday, July 24.

There will also be two parades, one starting at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 25, and one starting at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. The parade starts at the Days of â76 Event Complex, travels up U.S. Highway 14A onto Deadwood Main Street, turns east on Pine Street, then turns north onto U.S. Highway 85 where it ends.
