After receiving many requests for information on what USDA NASS considers qualified for reporting a "farm" or agricultural enterprise, Emily Stearns, the Health, Welfare & Regulatory Liaison for American Horse Council, has created this one-page explanation summary for easy reference. If you need an attachment document of this so you can share or reproduce, just ask! Note: The next ag census will be in 2028. Call for participants will take place in late 2026.

Have you or anyone from your state horse council ever enjoyed recreational horse activities in Nevada? Dude Ranch, Horse Show, Trail Ride, Camping...if so, these are just a few things that make YOU the person Debbie Beronio, Administrator for the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation is looking for!

Debbie says, "The Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation is seeking economic data on how we recreate in the Silver State! Our outdoor economic impact survey is now available! No matter how you recreate in our beautiful state, we want to hear from you! Data collected from the survey will help paint an in-depth analysis of how the outdoor industry plays a vital role in Nevada’s economy, help the Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation advance and promote sustainable, world-class outdoor recreation opportunities and show where we have needs and gaps across the state. Taking this quick, anonymous survey (10 Minutes) will help the state better serve your recreation needs and interests."

Take the survey today and make sure you share the survey link with everybody you know.
