▶ Course Dates: Dec. 8–9

This 2-day virtual course trains insulation inspectors to evaluate installation work and ensure compliance with mechanical insulation specifications. Demand for Certified Thermal Insulation Inspectors is growing, especially for data centers and LNG projects, making it valuable to have at least one on your team.

Prior to the 2-day instructor-led virtual course, participants will complete two on-demand virtual courses: Mechanical Insulation Basics and Understanding Mechanical Insulation. Register early to get the best learning experience!

Product Focus: The NIA Insulation Sampler

The NIA Insulation Sampler provides hand samples of generic mechanical insulation product types and accessories. This portable, fully enclosed sample box is designed for ease of use, with an illustrative product schematic guide that denotes each product type. Each sample has its own compartment space to remain organized and undamaged within the sample box.

In developing this kit, NIA aimed to represent many major mechanical insulation types. The kit is an excellent tool for your internal training and resource library, as well as external sales discussions and presentations.

OSHA Safety Update: Protect Workers from Indoor Heat Illness

Indoor heat can pose a serious risk to workers, especially when high temperatures and humidity are combined with strenuous activity, dehydration, limited heat acclimatization, or clothing that traps body heat. Employers can help reduce these risks by providing water, regular rest breaks, access to cooler areas, and training employees to recognize the signs of heat illness.

OSHA has compiled additional guidance and resources to help prevent heat-related illnesses in the workplace.
