Kings Final Master Facilities Plan
The Kings Final Master Facilities Plan was approved by the Kings Board of Education at their March meeting.
We have put together a video overview of the plan. We realize that there is a lot of information here so we will be releasing shorter, more in-depth videos of the plan in the near future. We are also currently creating an informational website regarding the plan that includes frequently asked questions. We hope to release the site prior to the end of the school year.
We hope you will take some time to make yourself familiar with the plan by clicking on the video. We thank our Kings Community who participated in the Thoughtexchange process. Your feedback was instrumental in this final plan!

Kings Drumline Place in World Championships
Congratulations to the Kings High School Drumline for their success at the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships earlier this month at the Nutter Center in Dayton.
With over 250 Percussion groups from all over the country vying for the championship, the Kings Drumline made it to the WGI PSA finals for the first time since 2010 and placed 15th.
The Drumline started as an experiment in 1998 under the direction of Mr. Mike Maegly. They have seen great success over the years. This season, Mr. Maegly was assisted by Mike Folz, Joe Davis, Sarah Acus, Thomas Sparling, Rob Knueven, Declan Hayden, and Garrette Koeninger
WGI is the world's premier organization producing indoor color guard, percussion, and winds competition. It is called the Sport of the Arts because it brings music to life through performance in a competitive format. Even with over 40 years of history, the sport continues to evolve and grow. There were more than 33,000 participants at the regional level, and more than 16,000 participants at the Sport of the Arts World Championships this past April.
This year's Drumline participants are:
Jake Algeier, Jacob Atkins, Lauren Bailey, Zach Baker, Chris Clark, Ethan Greene, Olivia Guy, Rowan Hayden, Josh Hudgel, Zach Johnson, Sam Kellum, Nathan Kinney, Kevin Maier, Carson Miller, Josh Niemantsverdriet, Alex Niemeyer, Gavin Niles, Jack Roman, Andrew Theiss, Logan Vanlandingham, and Ethan Yeaste
