A Warm Welcome to Karen Dion

We are thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our team at Botti & Morison Estate Planning, Ltd., Karen Dion, a seasoned legal professional with an impressive track record in the field of law.

Karen's journey in the legal world began as a civil litigator, where her dedication and expertise were evident from the start. Over the past 25 years, she honed her skills in consumer bankruptcy, excelling in client relations, negotiation, and her comprehensive understanding of the law. Karen's ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and her knack for problem-solving while providing passionate and empathetic guidance has earned her accolades throughout her career.

Her experience has made her acutely aware of the repercussions that can unfold without proper estate planning. This firsthand insight has led Karen to shift her focus to offering comprehensive legal counsel in all facets of estate planning and administration. Having served as both executor and successor trustee and litigated contentious matters, Karen intimately understands the emotional turmoil and challenges families and friends face during such times. She is committed to providing compassionate assistance tailored to each client's unique estate planning and administration needs.

Karen is a licensed attorney in both California and Wisconsin and holds admission to the United States District Court, Central District of California. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1995 and served as the Managing Editor of the Wisconsin International Law Journal. Beyond her legal pursuits, Karen finds solace in spending quality time with her family while engaging in various outdoor adventures. Her love for surfing, skiing, and her lifelong dedication to equestrian activities reflect her adventurous spirit and diverse interests.

Karen's client-centric approach, her extensive experience in asset preservation, and her wide-ranging legal skills have been seamlessly integrated into the realm of estate planning. Collaborating closely with us, Karen is eager to leverage her expertise to benefit our clients. We are excited to have her on board.
