Undoubtedly this has been one of the most trying and unprecedented years to navigate through in many of our lifetimes. For many of you, I don’t have the words to help you recover or restore what you may have lost this year. But, I do know it’s temporary and it will not last. Better, more bountiful days are ahead and the best is yet to come.
In this new year, I want you to focus on family, friends and the power of faith. Your continued, unwavering support has been one of the things driving us this New Year and helping us keep our eye on the future.
The entire EurWay Tours Family can’t wait to see you again and as we leave the past year behind and pursue the coming year with purpose. Continue to stay safe, continue to wear your masks, continue to social distance and continue to make it the happiest year your heart can imagine.

We love to feature CULINARY EXPERIENCES, and this month in honor of Valentines.
I stopped by a CHOCOLATIER
What's that?
Yes, a chocolaterie produces a variety of things made with CHOCOLATE.
A chocolatier is a person or company who makes confectionery from chocolate. Chocolatiers are distinct from chocolate makers, who create chocolate from cacao beans and other ingredients.
So here in my area I visited the Penbrooke store in Pensacola on Palafox street. The window was so inviting.
(But the GELATO sign caught my eye)
So I'm sure you saw the movie Willie Wonka and the chocolate factory, this had to be the storefront! I was greeted with delight, as if they knew we ALL LOVE CHOCOLATE.
There was chocolate covered ANYTHING, fruit, popcorn, pretzels. And of course for the upcoming holiday, lots of Mardi Gras chocolate delights.
Well, the young man invited me to try a few various DARK chocolate samples. From chocolate covered popcorn, to Dark dusted Truffles, and of course Gelato. Yes, I enjoyed my drive home with a DARK CHOCOLATE GELATO and a big smile.

FASCHING in BONNDORF
A Black Forest Cultural Experience
My last visit to Bonndorf, a quaint little town in the Black Forest, was always a great visit of cultural astonishment. The buildings, the architecture and especially during FASCHING TIME. Or as they say Fastnet or Fastnacht.
So what a surprise that our German-American Friendship colleague, Mr. Theo Binninger, the director of the Town Bank {Sparkasse=Savings Bank}, asked us to stop in before we departed the Black Forest area. So of course we stopped by the bank, and where given the VIP tour of the city artifacts dating back in time with the original Bank log books approx. 1700. WOW, Yes, Europeans have always been meticulously accurate and organized.
For those that know the german traditions, when you're invited over there is usually a meal or coffee time planned. And here we were treated with the Original Black Forest cake and coffee. I was presented with my own FASTNET mask from Borndorf, and the BLACK FOREST (Schwartzwald) book

As we finished our coffee conversation.... You could hear noises in the distance. Yes, the Bonndorf Fasching Parade would not miss us, but came for their practise run to the bank. (Click Below to see the video clip)
