🔒 Help Prevent Car Break-ins: Lock Your Doors

On the morning of Sunday, April 27, deputies were dispatched to the Rock Creek Community after a caller reported finding thieves had illegally entered their car and stolen possessions left inside the vehicle. Deputies have identified additional victims, and more victims are likely to come forward.

The suspects were caught on camera, but information that may lead to the thieves' identities is limited.

Streets with identified victims:

  • NW Kiwanda Drive
  • NW Salishan Drive
  • NW Highland Court

Here are some safety tips to help keep your valuables safe:

  • Never leave valuables in the vehicle, especially not in open view
  • Don’t leave your vehicles unlocked – they make for easy targets
  • Park in a lighted area
  • Do not leave firearms in your vehicle

What can you do?

  • See something, say something - report suspicious behavior to non-emergency dispatch or 911 if appropriate
  • If you have security video of the thieves from the morning of April 27, please contact non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111 and reference case number 50-25-5836
