The goal of a Workplace Violence Program is to support a work environment in which violent or potentially violent situations are effectively addressed with a focus on prevention by increasing employee understanding of the nature of workplace violence, how to respond to it and how to prevent it.
On the Move
Peds Unit Moving Back to First Floor

The Pediatric Unit, currently housed on OB, will move back to its original first floor location by December.

Work is under way cleaning, restocking and performing any necessary Facilities/Environmental Services updates. With the move comes the need to secure the Pediatric Unit once again. Our pediatric population is a vulnerable one that we must protect. This includes limiting access to the unit and restricting through traffic.

Over the past months, staff have become used to cutting through Peds for faster access to other hospital areas, using the bathroom and ice machine, storing beds and the like. This will no longer be allowed.

Thank you for your commitment to keeping everyone, including our youngest patients, safe during their hospital stay.
EMERGENCY APPEAL
Blood Drive in the Harrison Room on October 26 from 7am–4pm.
Appointments required to maintain social distancing. American Red Cross is currently under Emergency Appeal. A $5 Zaxby's Gift Card will be given to all those who donate and have a valid email address on file with the American Red Cross.
