Now Open: Farm to School Leadership Academy Applications

Offered by Shelburne Farms Institute for Sustainable Schools, the Farm to School Leadership Academy brings together leaders and aspiring leaders who are committed to transforming food systems in schools.


By focusing on education, resilience, and care, explore how transformational leadership, systems change, and community support can help strengthen and sustain your farm to school work.


This is a year-long, hybrid program beginning September 2026.

Applications are due Monday, June 8.

 

🥖 On the Rise: Brattleboro Schools Break Records (& Bread!)

These field trips are geared for school nutrition professionals, but anyone interested in farm to school and local food systems are welcome to register.

The F2iSummit is coming to Burlington in partnership with the Vermont Farm to School & Early Childhood Network!


 Farm to Institution New England's biennial summit brings together food system leaders from across the region to spark ideas, build partnerships, share resources and skills, and strengthen our collective impact. More than 500 farmers, food service directors, distributors, educators, and advocates gather to do this work in person — and leave ready to act.


The Network will help to highlight the amazing work happening across Vermont, and amplify farm to school and early childhood programming while creating robust cross-sector opportunities.
