Youth Tennis
Fall youth programs started at the club in September. It's not too late to join! Many kids jump in after their fall soccer or running seasons end. Fall programs run through December and can be seen here. In addition to these programs, we have two evening sessions for our most advanced teens run by Middlebury College Assistant Men's Coach Tristan Kaye. Questions? Contact the club!
Adult Opportunities
Now that fall is here, the Senior Round Robin will start up again, beginning September 27. This program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-1:30 pm. If you'd like to play, please contact the club. We will send out an email each week asking who would like to play. You can sign up by responding to the email or by contacting us. Pre-registration is requested; that way we know how many courts are needed and can manage player numbers. This program is free for members, and $12 per session for non-member seniors.
New Faces at MIT
We are happy to welcome two new staff members and several new members to MIT! Conor McDonough covers our front desk on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Dinara Meyers is a high school student who is helping with after school junior programs. Tristan Kaye, Assistant Men's Tennis Coach at Middlebury College, is running some advanced programs for teens.

Welcome to our new MIT members! Say hello to Noah Chester, Alan Colthrop, Spencer Copeland, Joe Doyle, Shelley Doyle, Lynn Dunton, Sarah Hopewell, Bodhi Kenna, Richard Langstaff, Adrien Malhotra, Natasha Sen, and Justin Smith. We look forward to seeing you all on the court!
Seasonal Membership
Cooler fall weather and the coming winter are good reminders for our seasonal members to start up their 8-month memberships. Eight month seasonal memberships run from October through May, when outdoor playing is unreliable (or impossible). Contact the club for more information.
MIT's Senoritas Team Advances!
Congratulations to our women's 7.0 senior 55+ team, the Senoritas, who won their local Vermont USTA league this year. In mid-September, the team advanced to post-season play in Springfield, MA. Tough competition at the regional level, but strong play by our local ladies. Congratulations on a terrific season!
Tennis Pro's Corner
Even though the US Open is over and Serena and Roger are retired, there is still some amazing tennis to watch. Currently the Davis Cup is being played, and the Laver Cup and Masters are coming up!
