Lifestyle:

Finding “The One”

February, the second month on the calendar, is known for George Washington and Abraham Lincoln’s birthdays in the United States—now rolled into what we call President’s Day. The other holiday, more personal and meaningful to most, is St. Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine.

Historically, it originated as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs named Saint Valentine, reported to be healers, who healed a child and were decapitated for it in 269 AD. From its dark beginnings, the holiday is recognized now as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and love in many regions of the world. But with most events, its real truth is shrouded in mystery. Today we celebrate it on February 14th; a romantic celebration of one’s beloved, where chocolate, flowers, gifts and cards are exchanged in love.

Yet, layers of meaning and truth exist with everything. Let’s go deeper. Two also represents Duality—our human vs divine selves and the polarity, separation or the presence of two opposite principles. The idea of being only human is very real and our true existence or being is also shrouded in mystery. Can we turn the page? Is there a bigger story we haven’t been able to see? What if we ourselves were “The One" we’ve been searching for? Our true love? And no one needs to complete who we are? When we believe, feel and own, our magnificent divine nature, our beloved becomes the frosting on the cake. But we are enough ourselves.

As the world turns itself inside out—we are not exempt from our own transformation to be the best version of ourselves. As we move into the new energy and new paradigm of tomorrow, we must shed what no longer works in our lives; our traumas, and conflicts—our relationships or our jobs. Even our beliefs can change as clarity comes as we receive personal messages from the Cosmos. In all ways, we must first honor and Love ourselves. We must rewrite our story in Love.

What if the greatest gift to ourselves is not a box of chocolate, but was to recognize our Light? Our magnificence? And Love for ourselves—not in an arrogant self-absorbed way—but in a way that honored those qualities in all those we know—and strangers we do not know? What if we honor the divinity in others with Love, compassion and respect? We would then, as the legend goes, be honoring the true spirit of Saint Valentine—as the healer he was reported to be. As we heal ourselves, it’s like lighting a match—and we touch others with our Light—we bring more Light to our relationships, households, communities, regions and global community.

You are, The One, a piece of the chain of Light that is the Universe—itself, therefore you are indeed a part of God. Happy Valentine’s Day as you shine your light upon the world of tomorrow.

In Love and Light,

What Does this mean? Decoding 101
Decoding messages from us to us is something that is coming to light and seeing its way into the mainstream--slowly. There is a connection between our physical health challenges and our mind and spirit. We cannot ignore those other parts of ourselves. We are emotional spiritual multidimensional humans. And, these physical dis-eases indicate we are "out of balance," something is "off kilter." Dis-ease alerts us that there are deep unresolved emotional blocks holding emotional angst at some level. Are we the brave ones to step up to heal our lineage? What was the emotional trauma we experienced as a child? What was so terrible, we have simply blocked it out? The conscious mind likes to ignore and repress that shadow that lurks within. However, our smart body, our innate, and intuition part of the subconscious and cellular memory remembers everything. In 2020, we will explore, just briefly the most common imbalances lying below the surface--a gift waiting to be seen and healed--for good! ❤️

DIARRHEA - INTESTINES - Martel
(Briefly)

This is often caused by fear or the desire to avoid or flee a situation or a reality that is wholly unpleasant or new for me. A flow of new ideas arrives and I don’t have time to integrate them properly. I wish that some things would go faster in my life, which makes me feel very impatient. I feel trapped by something new to me, and it turns my inner sensitivity upside down! I may feel stuck in my obligations to the Law. I reject myself, I rail against myself, and I am desperate! I was targeted with a dirty trick that I just can’t digest and I prefer to evacuate it as fast as I can. I felt myself ‘hit in the gut’ and petrified. On top of everything, I currently have a very lousy image of myself. I feel guilty. I am overwhelmed by these events. In my intimate relations, I find it difficult to accept ↓❤️ the love, the tenderness and the kindness of others.

Power Animal Oracle Cards
Power animals are spirit guides in animal form. Resourcefulness
"You have all the
resources you need"
🌸
Everything you need is right in front of you if you only look. There's no need to be fussing about this and that, creating drama and turmoil, worry about whether you'll have enough the next hour, the next day, or the next week. Whatever you need will be there. You might have to forage a little, but it will. Trust that. There's nothing to fret or worry about. Not really.

Use your brain and your intuition in partnership to not only help you solve the problem, but actually solve the problem. At first, it may not be obvious where to look; that's why you have to poke around a bit until you turn up what you need for this or any other situation. Sometimes when you follow your hunch and look under the couch for your lost wallet, you find the wallet. And, don't get tweaked if all the steps you take don't lead to an immediate solution. Don't proceed blindly or out of anxiety or fear. It's impossible to hear your intuition or your brain when you're jumping around randomly. So relax. Trust that what you need will turn up.

Recipe of the Month:
🍃 Flourless Chocolate Torte🍃

Bon Appetite!

Flourless Chocolate Torte

YIELD: 1 Chocolate Torte - serves 12
PREP TIME:  45+ minutes
Bake TIME:20-40 minutes

This recipe is one from the William-Sonoma collection. It first appeared in 2002 and I've never had a real reason to try it. However, with Valentines Day fast approaching--it seemed the perfect excuse. Maybe, February 14th should be renamed "National Chocolate Day"? lol

Opinions differ, but this chocolate torte reminded me of a little dessert place located in Seattle--on Capital Hill back in the day. It was called the Dilettante, founded in 1976,  and claimed noble beginnings baking for kings and royalty ---known for their rich exquisite chocolate desserts. This fits that category. However, it's not overly sweet and could be served with a dollop of fresh whipped cream AND fresh raspberries. Please see my notes at the bottom if you plan to bake this. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
  • 15 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 18 Tbs. (2 1⁄4 sticks) unsalted butter,
  •  cut into small pieces
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 9 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • 1 1⁄2 Tbs. dark rum or brewed espresso (optional)
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 egg whites, at room temperature
  • 3 cups raspberries
  • Confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions:
Preheat an oven to 300ºF. Grease a heart cake pan and dust with cocoa powder.

In the top pan of a double boiler, combine the chocolate and butter. Set the top pan over but not touching barely simmering water in the bottom pan and melt, then whisk until well blended. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat together the egg yolks, 6 Tbs. of the granulated sugar, the dark rum, vanilla and salt on medium-high speed until pale and very thick, 3 to 5 minutes. Gradually pour in the chocolate mixture and continue beating until well blended.

In a deep, clean bowl, using a mixer fitted with a clean whisk attachment, beat the egg whites on medium-high speed until foamy, about 1 minute. Gradually add the remaining 3 Tbs. granulated sugar and continue to beat until medium-firm peaks form, about 2 minutes. Scoop half of the egg whites onto the chocolate mixture and fold them in gently. Fold in the remaining whites just until no streaks remain.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly. Bake until the torte puffs slightly and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out very moist but not liquid, about 40 minutes. Do not overcook. Transfer the pan to a wire rack and let cool for 30 minutes.

To remove the pan sides, set the pan on a can and let the sides slide down. Let the torte cool completely, then cover and refrigerate until very cold, at least 4 hours or up to overnight.

Just before serving, garnish the torte with the raspberries and dust with confectioners' sugar.

Cathy's notes: I actually had to bake this twice. Confession time. I didn't want to use my heart-shaped cake pan with the removable bottom and when I got on line, many recipes called for using a 'spring-form' pan. I assumed this would be much easier when time came to release the torte from the pan after baking. However, the butter ran right out and into the bottom of my oven. The second time I baked this chocolate torte, I used a "Doughmaker" 9" round commercial grade aluminum cake pan. It worked perfectly. I lined both the bottom of the cake pan and placed a strip of parchment paper around the edge and it worked like a charm. The cake came right out after allowing it to cool for about an hour. I found the directions a bit confusing in the "original directions" regarding its cooling and release above. I sprayed the bottom and sides with cooking spray as I was lining the pan. I also don't have a double-boiler, so I place a smaller sauce pan inside a larger one filled with water. When the water started to boil--I turned off the heat and let the chocolate and butter continue to melt--stirring with my small whisk. Everything else was pretty straight forward. However, make sure you don't over bake this dessert, as it needs the moisture and provides it with the smooth creamy chocolatey texture one appreciates in a fine rich dessert.

Bon Appetite

Have Masks become the new religion or even scarier, a brainwashing technique to control and enslave a population or an entire world? Remember the Borg? “Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.” There are a few of us, in the minority, that have resisted this collective mind control. Scientific studies show face masks represent no benefit in stopping the transmission of COVID-19, and yet there is a belief and a pushed fanatical narrative that they offer protection against the virus. The timbre keeps getting louder with greater intensity as the dangerous narrative grows extremely ferocious.

Biological Decoding Here Today
Conflicts and trauma are sometimes obvious and sometimes not and make their presence known to us as dis-ease and imbalance in our lives; manifesting in our body.  Weight issues or acne are obvious to most, but what are the traumas, loyalties and imbalances locked away in diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or behind simple allergies and minor illnesses given labels or the diagnosis's we receive at the doctor's office? Do you want healing or just relief?

The premise is easy. Disease and sicknesses are "nothing more" than emotional conflict(s) or trauma, --lessons to learn (that may be passed down from our ancestors) running in an "invisible" field of energy unknown or unrealized to us until it emerges as our brain's (the ultimate computer) solution for the disturbance deep within our psyche. More simply, the first law of Biological Decoding states: "Every pain or disease originates from a conflict. The conflict is an unexpected, highly acute, and isolating shock that occurs simultaneously in the PSYCHE, the BRAIN, and part of the BODY that corresponds to the type of conflict. Discovering the conflict aids the brain in sending messages to repair the body".

If we are human, we all have unresolved emotional conflicts. Heal them for yourselves--heal them for your kids and break the pattern. Biological Decoding goes hand-in-hand with our allopathic medicine today which addresses the mechanical aspects of our disease.

How can I help you today?

The Biology of Decoding is an amazing tool to assist in the discovery of the root cause of dis-ease.  This discovery and decoding opens the door to healing, deepens spiritual understanding of who we are and releases limiting beliefs and patterns.

"If the mind doth bend, disease can end."
