FEBRUARY IS AMERICAN HEART MONTH
47% of people in the U.S. have at least one of the risk factors for heart disease and it can happen at any age.
The term “heart disease” refers to several types of heart conditions. The most common type of heart disease in the United States is coronary artery disease (CAD), which affects the blood flow to the heart. Decreased blood flow can cause a heart attack.

KCHC drive-up COVID-19 testing services began at the Shalom Center in Kenosha on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 and run through Tuesday, February 28, 2022.
When: Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 12 PM – 4:30 PM (except Thursday, February 17)

NATIONAL CHILDREN’S DENTAL HEALTH MONTH COLORING CONTEST |

February is National Children’s Dental Health Month! Help us celebrate by taking part in our National Children’s Dental Health Month Coloring Contest! There are three age categories for the contest: Ages 4-6, 7-9 and 10-11.
ENTRY DETAILS:
- Contest is open to children ages 11 and under.
- One (1) entry per child.
- Return your entry to KCHC Kenosha or Silver Lake Clinic by 5:00pm on February 28, 2022.
The winner of each age group will receive an art basket (valued at $75) donated by Dooley & Associates!

Kenosha Community Health Center is proud to announce that Donna Zagame, a registered dental hygienist serving both Kenosha and Silver Lake patients, has recently earned the Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control (CDIPC). Donna was one of 126 oral health professionals who were among the first group to earn the certification on Dec. 29, 2021. |

Seeking Board Members!
The Kenosha Community Health Center’s Board of Directors is seeking to appoint new members to ensure we have the capacity and skills to oversee the next phase of our work.
Board members are expected to commit to a two-year term, attend one monthly board and one monthly committee meeting, advise the Leadership team and act in an ambassadorial role for The Kenosha Community Health Center. The roles are unpaid, voluntary positions.
