Don’t Wait Until You Run Out: Why Requesting Prescription Medication Refills Early Matters

Staying on top of medications is key to good health, and Pillar Health and Kenosha Community Health Center make it easier by encouraging patients to request prescription refills during their appointments to avoid delays or added stress.

Make 2026 the Year You Stop Hitting Snooze on Your Health

Everyone promises to “focus on their health” in the new year.

But here’s the truth no one talks about: the easiest resolution you can make is simply keeping your medical appointments. Missing even one can set you back more than you think — and this article breaks down why.

Do You Know the 5 Components to Physical Fitness?

Regular movement supports your heart, muscles, joints, energy levels, and mental wellness.

If you’re ready to make 2026 the year you feel stronger, more confident, and more in control of your well-being, understanding the five core components of physical fitness is a powerful first step.

At Pillar Health and KCHC, we’re here to help our community live well, stay active, and take meaningful steps toward better health. Before beginning or changing any exercise routine, talk with your healthcare provider to create a safe, personalized plan that fits your age, abilities, and goals.

Pillar Health’s Ongoing Commitment to Racine

In response to the high demand for primary care and behavioral health services, Pillar Health Racine Clinic announces expanded access to high-quality medical and behavioral health services, offering more appointment availability.

As part of this growth, Pillar Health is adding the services of Family Nurse Practitioner Vedrana “Vee” Jovkovic, and expanding behavioral health hours with Psychotherapist Javier Luna-Blanco. With these additions, the Pillar Health Racine Clinic will offer two family medicine providers, one pediatric provider, and one behavioral health therapy provider onsite.
