📰 2026: The Year of Vision and Velocity

January at Girls Inc. of Greater Atlanta was defined by one word: access. From the cockpit of an airplane to the global boardroom of FIFA26, we kicked off the year by removing barriers for our girls and their families. This month, we didn't just dream about the future—we mapped it. Whether it was distributing 40+ laptops to community adults, engineering prototypes with aviation experts, or welcoming back a standout alumna as our new Pilot Ambassador, the "Full Circle" impact of our mission has never been clearer. Dive in to see how we are building a stronger, smarter, and bolder Atlanta—one connection at a time.

From Girls Inc. Girl to Miss Greater Atlanta: Meet Sarah Jane Houston

Our new Pilot Ambassador, Sarah Jane Houston, is proof of what happens when we invest in a girl's potential. A published author and statewide advocate who grew up in our programs, Sarah Jane is returning to lead a new generation. Read how her "Full Circle" journey is redefining representation in Atlanta.

Global Goals: Mapping Careers with FIFA26 and Coca-Cola

What does it take to lead in the global sports industry? Our teens went behind the scenes with Coca-Cola and FIFA26 to explore high-level career pathways. From vision boards to business blueprints, see how our Project Accelerate participants are preparing for 2026.

Bridging the Divide: 40+ Laptops and a New Digital Future

Empowerment doesn't stop at the classroom door. Through a partnership with Inspiredu, we recently provided over 40 adults with free laptops and the critical digital skills needed to thrive in today’s economy. Discover how we’re strengthening the families behind our girls.

From the Cockpit to the Clinic: Aviation Leaders Visit Eureka!

How do you graduate college debt-free and break into aerospace engineering? Pilot Andie Pfannkuch and Emory University’s Sheena White joined our Eurekans for a masterclass in STEM leadership. See the paper airplane prototypes (and the winners!) from this high-flying session.

More Than a Meal: Life Skills at the Nacho Bar

One of our most popular clubs returned this month with a student-led Nacho Bar! But it wasn't just about the toppings—our girls practiced knife safety, teamwork, and healthy decision-making. See how we turn kitchen time into independence training.
