"This is the best library I've ever been to. They have so many books and a 3D PRINTER; it is so big, and their process of checking out books is so easy. My kids just have to type their school student number, and they can check out the books. No card, so no losing it! You should really come to this library.

Welcome our new Director of Development!

We are thrilled to announce our new Director of Development, Nessa Griffin. In her new role, Nessa is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic fundraising plan to raise vital funds in partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Library Foundation's Board of Directors. While public funding supports basic library operations, private support helps ensure a higher level of service now and in the future. It's what makes your great library even better.

Nessa brings more than 20 years of experience with the library and most recently managed your Buford-Sugar Hill branch for the past six years. Raised in Gwinnett County, Nessa is a shining example of the Gwinnett County School System. She attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and received her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Married to her high school sweetheart, Nessa and her husband are raising their children in Suwanee, Georgia.

If you want to know more about how you can support your library now or in the future, please reach out to Nessa via email (ngriffin@gwinnettpl.org).
