Help Make the Holidays Brighter
The Child & Family Center’s Adopt-A-Family program is in full swing, and our community’s generosity is already making a difference. As we continue this season of giving, we have a special and urgent need for gift cards for teens.
While younger children are often easy to shop for, teens are frequently the hardest to match and gift cards give them the joy of picking something special for themselves. We are especially seeking $25 gift cards to stores like Target and Walmart.
You can help by adopting a family, donating holiday gifts, or contributing gift cards for teens in our programs.
To participate or learn more, please contact Cheryl Jones at cheryl.jones@childfamilycenter.org. Your kindness helps ensure no child is left out this holiday season.

Grateful for Our Community
In November, Child & Family Center had the joy of hosting a special Donor Appreciation Event to celebrate the incredible individuals and partners who make our work possible. Surrounded by warm conversation and shared gratitude, we gathered to reflect on the impact our community creates together.
The evening was filled with meaningful connections, heartfelt thanks, and inspiring stories that highlighted how generosity fuels hope and healing for children and families throughout our community. From longtime supporters to new friends, every guest helped create a night that truly embodied the spirit of gratitude.
We are deeply thankful for our donors, volunteers, and advocates. Your belief in our mission continues to change lives, and we are honored to walk alongside you.

Operation Gobble: Boston Scientific Partners with Child & Family Center to Help Families Enjoy a Holiday Meal
For many years, Boston Scientific has been a trusted community partner in helping Child & Family Center families experience the warmth and comfort of the holiday season. Through their ongoing generosity, employees have collected and donated food and essential items to support families facing food insecurity during one of the most meaningful times of the year.
This annual effort goes far beyond donations, it represents a deep commitment to helping families find stability, nourishment, and peace of mind during the holidays. Thanks to Boston Scientific’s continued support, countless families have been able to gather around the table and enjoy a holiday meal together.

Honoring Men’s Mental Health Month
This November, we shine a light on the importance of men’s mental health and the strength it takes to ask for support. Many men face unique pressures to remain silent about stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles often putting their well-being last while caring for their families, careers, and communities. This month, we encourage open conversations, early support, and the reminder that help is a sign of strength not weakness.

Honoring Community & Tradition at Día de los Muertos
The Child & Family Center outreach team was proud to join the City of Santa Clarita in celebrating Día de los Muertos, a beautiful cultural tradition that honors life, remembrance, and connection. Alongside families, local organizations, and community partners, our team engaged in meaningful conversations, shared resources, and participated in activities that highlighted the importance of healing, heritage, and togetherness.
The event created a powerful space for reflection and celebration, allowing us to connect with families in a culturally meaningful way while reinforcing our commitment to serving the mental health and wellness needs of our diverse community.
