KCHC LAUNCHES NEW MEDICAL RECORD AS OF JANUARY 10, 2023
On January 10, 2023, KCHC/Pillar Health will be launching a new electronic health record (EHR) that includes a new patient portal called MyChart. MyChart will allow you to do many things including sending a message to your provider, paying for services, and having better access to your health information.
|
During the transition, we ask for your patience as your healthcare provider works to provide you with expert services, while at the same time, learning to navigate an EHR system. You may notice some delays in appointment scheduling or the registration process, but you can be assured that these are only temporary and will be resolved within a few weeks following the system launch. Please monitor your email closely for further information.
CareMessage will also be updated in January to work with the new EHR. When you receive the text welcoming you to CareMessage, please stay in the program to continue receiving appointment reminders and health tips by text. Please call 262.656.0044 with any questions or to confirm appointments during this transition period.

New Behavioral Health Team Members, Cassie Gillen and Javier Luna-Blanco
The KCHC Behavioral Health team is pleased to welcome two full-time counseling staff members to our clinic: Cassie Gillen and Javier Luna-Blanco. Both staff members are graduates of the UW-Parkside Clinical Mental Health Counseling program, and they will be completing their last step of training with KCHC in 2023 to become Licensed Professional Counselors.
Cassie and Javier will help the Behavioral Health team expand services for individual and group counseling to those aged 15 and over. Group mental health classes offered in the new year include the Moments of Mindfulness group led by Cassie and a group series offered in Spanish led by Javier called Let’s talk about: Relationship Boundaries.
