NELMSC SCY Championship returns to Harvard with distance day at BSI-Wellesley

Important details for 2024: Saturday, March 9: Distance Day at BSI-Wellesley (1000/1650 free) will will take place at the BSI-Wellesley facility in Wellesley MA. 11:00am warmup, 12:00 noon start, est. 8:00pm finish.

Friday, March 15: 9:30am warmup, 10:30am start, est. 7:30pm finish: A longer day back at Harvard's Blodgett Pool.

Saturday, March 16: 1:00pm warmup, 2:00pm start, est. 8:00pm finish: A shorter day with a later start at Harvard's Blodgett Pool.

Due to limited pool availability, there will not be a Sunday session this year.

Plan out your meet: Check the order of events.

Talk to your teammates to make sure they are planning to enter. (Relays!)

The regular entry deadline is February 23. We may close entries for any or all sessions before February 23 if the sessions become too long. Please enter early to guarantee your spot, and check the web site to confirm that entries are still open. If the meet is not yet full by February 23, we may accept limited late online entries with a $20 late surcharge.

Due to the limited facility availability, we anticipate that the meet will close once we have reached approximately 525 entries. Please enter early to secure your spot. We hope to return to our traditional distance day + 3 full day schedule in 2025.

Want a team atmosphere to complete your 1-Hour swim? Check out this special event New England Masters is hosting at Boston University for all Masters Swimmers:

January 20th from 12 pm to 2:30 pm. Swimmers are expected to attend the full two and half hours and will assist in timing other swimmers when not in the water. Click here to register to swim your 1-Hour swim at BU.
