PARTY BOOK is going LIVE!
Step 2: Sign up for a party to attend
Step 3: Not only will you have fun but 100% of the ticket sale goes directly to Bay Laurel!
Party Book brings together Bay Laurel families to create lasting relationships and memories. Families host a variety of events from kids only, to family events, to adult only functions. The families sponsor all the costs of the event and 100% of the proceeds earned from the sale of tickets are then donated to our school. Grab a few friends and put on a party for your child's grade level! It's a great way to get a "play date" scheduled and earn money for the PFA at the same time.

LVUSD 2020 BOND MEASURE
MARCH 2020 MEASURE WILL SEEK $198 MILLION FOR LVUSD
|
|
Did you know that LVUSD's per pupil state funding is in the bottom 15% of all districts in California? This is because of a change in the funding allocation from the State in 2013 when California implemented a new policy to direct extra funding to areas of “high need” (economically disadvantaged, English learners or foster youth).
LVUSD is not considered “high need,” but
we do
need
our community’s support!
With our district’s aging facilities, our schools require significant improvements that
the State of California will not fund
.
Thus we must rely on raising local funds through this Bond.
This measure will help address our most time-sensitive safety, security, and educational facility needs, including:
- Improving instructional technology to keep classrooms up to date.
- Upgrading science and engineering labs and career technical education facilities.
- Strengthening school safety, upgrading fire and disaster preparedness and emergency response systems.
- Repairing and replacing deteriorating roofs, plumbing, heating/air conditioning systems.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
- VOTE: On or before March 3rd
- Get your friends to VOTE (Parents are historically a low turn out voting population)
- Come phone bank with us January 21st 5-8 pm at Keller Williams Calabasas, 23975 Park Sorrento, Unit 110). Click the SignUpGenius link below.
- Talk to your neighbors and friends about the importance of this Bond
- Join the committee. Contact one of the people below:
