Get those costumes ready Dolphins! It's time to Trunk-or-Treat "Bay Laurel style" THIS
Friday, October 25th 6-8PM
! Bay Laurel's campus will be transformed into an amazing trick-or treating "neighborhood"! There will be over 20 trunks for treating so be sure to bring a trick-or-treat bag! We can't wait to see your costumes and find out who wins the "Best Truck" award!
We will also be offering a pizza meal for $5 each (pizza, chips and bottle of water) and fun glow items to purchase, from $1-$3 each.

RED RIBBON WEEK & BOOK FAIR

Red Ribbon is a week long national celebration of healthy bodies and minds. Bay Laurel celebrates with fun themed activities for each day of the week. See the schedule below. We will also be hosting our Book Fair with Mrs. Nelson's in the MPR during the week. You can help by volunteering at this

ALL-SCHOOL HALLOWEEN PARADE
GET THOSE COSTUMES READY!
|

On
October 31st
, Bay Laurel will have an all-school Halloween Parade on the black top from
8:30-9:30am
. Parents are welcome! Students should come in costume but remember to leave the masks and all weapons at home. If your child will not be comfortable wearing their costume the rest of the day, you might want to provide a change of clothes for them. You do NOT need to come to the office and get a visitor pass to watch the parade.
Some classes may be having a Halloween party that day. Your room parents will let you know more details around what's being planned for your classroom and when. You WILL need to get a visitor pass to attend a classroom party.

! If you are impressed with Bailey Munoz's moves on "So You Think You Can Dance" and want to learn hip hop, then this Party Book party is for you! Join your fellow Dolphin parents for a 60-minute, adult-only Hip Hop Dance Party at Dance Dimensions. Wine and snacks will be served. No experience necessary!

BAY LAUREL EMERGENCY GUIDELINES
VOLUNTEERS & VISITORS WILL BE ASKED TO HELP
|
|
Last week, our students practiced an emergency evacuation drill. In the event of a disaster, non-school persons (this means ALL adult visitors/volunteers) on campus are expected to serve as emergency workers, subject to the direction of school and civil authorities. All adults on campus are expected to follow all emergency procedures, and assist the teachers/staff when required. Thank you for your assistance!
