Calling All Members!

Annual Business & Planning Meeting

On Saturday, April 25th we introduce our most ambitious campaign ever designed to drive record voter turnout to the midterm elections by addressing the key barriers that keep voters from the polls. Please join us as we lay out the tactics, tools and resources to Register, Empower, and Mobilize voters throughout Sarasota County.

We will introduce the multi-media outreach campaign developed to motivate voters by Ringling College of Art and Design students. The campaign simplifies critical information, cuts through the clutter and makes participation feel immediate and accessible.

You will learn about our community partner outreach campaign and how you can join the movement. The impact we have on our community will be determined by the energy of our 350 members.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow members, recognize outstanding volunteers and celebrate our accomplishments over the past year.

In League,

Vilia and Rhonda

March 24th Sarasota County School Board Report Card

"We again ask that the board majority treat the speakers with a genuine effort to understand what the speakers are telling them, to honestly respond to them with respect and compassion, and to refrain from dismissing their concerns as the ideas of the misinformed, manipulated and radical left...We echo Ms. Barker that the Board chair refrain from introducing unnecessary new policies that generate political hype."

Florida Driver License Changes: What to Know

An important message from our Supervisor of Elections regarding how these changes will impact your ability to request a vote-by-mail ballot online.

"If you received a new Florida driver license after July 31, 2024 and did not opt to update your voter record at that time, it is strongly recommended that you update your voter record with your new driver's license number. Visit the Update Voter Information section of our website for a complete list of options."
