What's Up With Us?

National Volunteer Appreciation Month

April marks Volunteer Appreciation Month, an opportunity dedicated to recognizing and expressing gratitude to those who selflessly give their time, skills, and energy to our community.

At Changing Homelessness, we acknowledge everyday how volunteers make the work we do possible, and we are grateful to everyone who has given to us as our agency prepares to celebrate 50 years of service.

Be on the lookout as we feature a few of these shining volunteers and partner agencies who make our work possible. We couldn't do it without you!

Join the CoC Membership Committee!

Are you a natural connector with a past or present career in marketing, sales, or education? Your CoC Board is seeking committee members! Please consider donating your time and talent by joining the Membership Committee and put your skills to use. Membership is for those natural networkers who connect neighbors to neighbors with a focus on the vision that together, we can solve homelessness.

The time commitment is a 1 hour monthly committee meeting that meets at 9am on the last Thursday of the month. It is also a suggestion to stay faithful to the General Membership meetings that are the second Thursday of the month from 8:30-10am. Currently, all meetings are on Zoom!

If so, please email Presbyterian Social Ministries. Their Clothing with Purpose program is designed to provide clothing to agencies so you can help distribute it to the individuals and families you serve.
