🌿 Important News from the Mount Clemens Farmers Market 🌿

We have some important news to share with our Mount Clemens Farmers Market family. Beginning Opening Day — Saturday, May 2 — the Mount Clemens Farmers Market will be moving to a new home behind the Anton Art Center in the Roskopp Lot (68 Southbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, MI 48043).

While change always brings a little adjustment, we’re choosing to see this as an opportunity — a chance to grow, to reimagine our space, and to continue building the vibrant community that makes this market so special. We’re asking for your patience and your continued support as we navigate this new chapter.

At the heart of our market has always been the people — our dedicated farmers, hardworking vendors, and loyal shoppers. That doesn’t change with a new address. Our farmers will still be there at sunrise, bringing you the fresh, local food you love. Our vendors will still be offering the quality products and friendly faces you count on. And we’re looking forward to welcoming you into this new space as we begin another wonderful season together.

Stay tuned for more details and helpful information about the new location in the coming weeks.

Thank you for being part of our market family. We’ll see you May 2! 🌱💚

🌿 Mount Clemens Farmers Market – Location Change Q&A 🌿

We know you have questions about our move, and we’re here to help! Below are answers to some of the most common ones:

Why the change of location?

The City of Mount Clemens has leased the former farmers market parking lot to Consumers Energy for equipment storage, making a relocation necessary.

How will this affect seniors who attend the market?

Although the new location may not be within walking distance for everyone, the city’s Senior Shopper bus will provide transportation to and from the market for residents of Clemens Towers, Clinton Place, and Park Place Towers.

How will this affect parking?

There is still plenty of convenient parking available. Multiple public lots are located throughout downtown Mount Clemens, including handicap-accessible parking in the same lot as the market.

Will we have to pay to park now?

No. Parking in downtown Mount Clemens is free on weekends.

How will the market fit in the new lot?

There will be a brief adjustment period as we settle into the new space. Once the city removes the parking meters and curbs, the lot will provide sufficient room to accommodate vendors and visitors comfortably.

What about the bathroom situation?

The City of Mount Clemens will provide port-o-potties during market hours. They will be cleaned after each market and secured when not in use to ensure they remain clean, safe, and available for visitors.

Will the beloved barn be relocated?

Due to its age and structure, the barn will not be relocated. While it won’t be part of this season’s setup, there may be future plans to rebuild.

We’re excited to welcome you to our new home and appreciate your continued support as we grow into this next chapter together. See you on Opening Day! 🌱
