Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to welcome Tambudzai (Tambu) Magwenzi as CORE Group’s new Membership Coordinator.
Tambudzai will support the engagement and growth of CORE Group’s global network of community health practitioners and partners. In her role, she will help strengthen collaboration, knowledge exchange, and participation across our diverse membership.
She brings experience in global health advocacy, partnership coordination, and youth leadership development. Tambudzai has worked with international networks advancing the leadership and rights of people living with HIV in all their diversity, convening global stakeholders, supporting community-led advocacy, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen youth participation in global health policy spaces.
Her background also includes work in feminist philanthropy, where she supported efforts to resource grassroots feminist movements and promote more equitable and inclusive funding approaches.Tambudzai holds a Master of Science in Child Sensitive Social Policies and a Bachelor of Science in Women and Gender Studies from the Women’s University in Africa, Zimbabwe.
