It starts with an idea...

Everything in our world of corporate communications starts with an idea. Our job is to take that idea to the next level, and put it into motion. We are visual storytellers. Some of our clients’ best ideas have actually evolved out of a PowerPoint Presentation or a Training Manual.

A PowerPoint Evolution

Our client, Virginia Railway Express, had developed an in-person PowerPoint Training Presentation to inform first responders and public safety personnel about the nuances of their commuter trains and how their railway cars differed from those of AMTRAK and Metro. The problem was that first responders and public safety personnel keep very different hours and there was no way they could possibly reach all personnel in 5 geographic jurisdictions.

Client could reach more first responders by making training content available on their time.

So, they came to us to develop a video training program that first responders could watch when they had time, and on their schedule – instead of waiting for an in-person session. Additionally, the video presentation allowed us to go farther than the PowerPoint slides and actually show them the safety features and locations on the train car. And, we could add a sense of realism by staging emergency scenarios with actual first responders and volunteers as passengers.

Meeting Ice Breaker to introduce Bengal Traders Joe

Bengal Traders Joe was born out of fast creative thinking and a talented team to pull it off in less than 10 days.

Breaking Ice

Another example was when ExxonMobil had to do a Year-in-Review program at their annual meeting. Our client was going to be the 9
th presenter of one power point presentation after another. He wanted an icebreaker to wake the audience up and to get them engaged for a 45-minute presentation on coffee.

“How can you talk about coffee for 45 minutes?”, we asked. They had just launched a nationwide remodeling in all of their stores to enhance their beverage operation, and they wanted shareholders to hear all about it. So, we needed something funny and light entertainment. Oh, and we had 10 days with a holiday in the middle to make something from nothing.

Our creative team got to thinking, tapping several resources, and magically the stars all came into alignment. We had recently worked with an improve comedian on another project – luckily, he was available and perfect for the job. And then, our event staging friends managed to create a giant coffee cup costume within 48hrs. And Voila! “Bengle Traders Joe” was born! Our comedian was wound up, thrown into a store at 6am with real customers, and we captured all the mayhem. We had a thumbnail of a script from which to work, and the rest was pure gold! We captured some of the funniest moments in corporate video that energized our audience and exceeded client expectations. This led to a multi-year training contract where we brought their training manuals to life.
