COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Applying for a Design Review Request

As part of our commitment to preserving the unique character and beauty of the Daybreak community, we want to ensure residents are familiar with the Design Review application process. Whether you're planning a landscape update, a patio addition, installing a new fence, applying for a new house color, or any other exterior modification, submitting a complete and accurate application is essential for timely review and approval. Design Review approval is required for all exterior modifications. We ask homeowners to submit their application(s) before starting any work and to plan for up to 60 days for approval before hiring contractors or scheduling the project to begin.

How to Submit an Application:

There are two convenient ways to submit your Design Review application:

Online:

Submit through the Design Review Portal at

www.mydaybreak.com/community/community_standards/design_review

In Person:

Visit the Daybreak Office:

11248 S Kestrel Rise Rd #201, South Jordan, UT

What to Expect After Submission:

Once fully submitted, applications are reviewed by the Design Review Committee (DRC) to ensure compliance with the Daybreak Resident Design Guidelines.

Meet with Our Team:

To help ensure a smooth review process and avoid common delays, we encourage residents to schedule a meeting with our Design Review staff to discuss their applications.

MAINTENANCE MINUTE

Tennis Courts

The Church Park tennis courts will be closed until the end of the week while the chain-link fences are replaced.

In the meantime, feel free to use the Eastlake tennis courts nearby. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we improve Daybreak's amenities.

Dock Repairs

Two of the docks on Oquirrh Lake are currently closed pending repairs.

During these repairs, residents are asked to please stay off the following:

  • The dock on the southeast end of the Island.
  • The dock located by the pedestrian bridge south of Lake Village.

Paseo Signs Installation

Our operations crew is adding paseo signs throughout Daybreak over the next few weeks.

  • Eastern and Northern sections of Highland Park (Neighborhood Park/Stream Park)
  • Middle section of Highland Park (Night Heron/Willow Walk)
  • Southwest part of Cascade Village (Skip Rock/Meadow Grass/Silver Pond/Allerton)
  • North Cascade Village (Bingham Rim/Easy Bee)

This is part of an ongoing project to add signage to all paseos in the community that will assist visitors and delivery services.

If you have any questions about these or any other projects you see in the community, please contact us at daybreak@ccmcnet.com or call the office at (801) 254-8062. We're more than happy to help!
