"Nature"
There’s something important for me about being outside. Whether it’s a fresh breeze blowing through the forest or the sunshine that bathes me in light, nature just feels good and rejuvenating. And, I always have a great sleep after spending the day outdoors. I know many of you feel this way too. As summer approaches and encourages us to explore the outdoors—there are many benefits we often haven’t associated with a walk, hike or day at the beach. As many of you know, I have camped across the United States and back several times and have plans to do it again. I love the sense of freedom, and the majestic views, and peace that feeds my soul.

When you put your toes in the sand, or your feet in the green grass, jump in the water, or wrap your arms around a tree, there is a direct communication with our Mother Earth—Gaia. We live in a system of symbiosis: we have a direct relationship in which we are dependent; we receive beneficial support and health sustaining benefits, and I believe our consciousness and energy helps the earth. It is an exchange. How profound is this wisdom; the trees provide us with oxygen, and we in turn provide them carbon dioxide. We are each are allowed to grow, blossom and thrive in this sustainable intimate relationship!

Electromagnetic energy comes into the earth plane and we receive it via our magnetic DNA strands which are positively affected as part of our biological programing—it is embedded within the very cells of our biology. So, when we step outside, we are truly affected by the very hum of the earth. No wonder we feel good and have a sense of reestablishing our natural balance and an awareness of being alive when we return to our divine relationship with the mother. Unfortunately, this relationship for the most part has been lost and dismissed by our modern culture. What did the ancients know?

Poets have written about the feel-good magic of nature. Are there unseen elements that we miss? Could it be the devas, gnomes, faeries and other elementals are what we unknowingly feel when we commune in nature? What about the energy and information that comes from the crystals, and rocks buried beneath our feet? They have energy and are the “givers and receivers’ of information. Nonsense? Perhaps, but in Ireland, they have faeriologists. It’s a real thing. Gives pause for wonder how much we don’t know.

The sun supplies us with vitamin D. It is another gift we receive. It is commonly known as the sunshine vitamin – in keeping bones strong. But research suggests it also may protect against a host of other dis-eases, including osteoporosis, heart disease and cancers of the breast, prostate and colon. What's more, sunlight has other hidden benefits – like protecting against depression, insomnia and an overactive immune system. Got sun?

We are usually active outdoors. Exercise is another component of well-being. It reduces stress. Our bodies were designed to move, and hiking, or biking or building a campfire and collecting wood hardly seems like work. But fun active exercise. No matter how you choose to be in nature—and your activity level—it’s more than you’ll get sitting behind your computer, reading the latest Facebook posts on your phone or walking to the kitchen for yet another snack.

Our Immune system is also stimulated when we are feeling good. So, you can have fun and boost your immunity to whatever the mainstream media is pitching currently. (I turned off the news about 15 years ago.) Look at it as a defensive move for your physical body and your mind. When we start to change our routine, and pick something outdoors that we enjoy, everything changes in an instant—even though—nothing in our life has really changed except—our mood, our perspective and amazingly, our biology.

Mother Nature offers no judgment. We can wear our old jeans and a favorite T. We don’t have to have make-up, or a pedicure. Our nails don’t have to be perfect. We are allowed to be truly ourselves. We don’t have to impress anyone. We don’t have to do anything. And, we can have a stress-free day, weekend or week when we give ourselves permission to just be. We can let our inner child out to play. We can float on an inner tube. We can roast marshmallows and laugh or scream when they catch fire. We can roast hot dogs and eat them off the stick. We can lay on the ground or on a picnic table and see the amazing array of stars—especially when we don’t have to complete with the ambient lights of the city. What is your inner child yearning to do? Can you let her or him out to play?

Lastly a piece of Esoteric thought for you to ponder: what if the very dirt of the earth contains consciousness? This is where elements of our biology originally came from. The elements in our bodies, and our cells, and the life energy that surges through us are originally part of the earth. Earth has consciousness and this consciousness of the Earth is part of us. So, perhaps, when we choose to be in nature we are actually healing and feeding each other necessary multidimensional ‘nutrients’. Could us playing outside this summer, actually be part of our ascension process and part of the plan of Earth. Let’s say this is so. Now, go have fun!

What Does this mean? Decoding 101
Decoding messages from us to us is something that is coming to light and seeing its way into the mainstream--slowly. There is a connection between our physical health challenges and our mind and spirit. We cannot ignore those other parts of ourselves. We are emotional spiritual multidimensional humans. And, these physical dis-eases indicate we are "out of balance," something is "off kilter." Dis-ease alerts us that there are deep unresolved emotional blocks holding emotional angst at some level. Are we the brave ones to step up to heal our lineage? What was the emotional trauma we experienced as a child? What was so terrible, we have simply blocked it out? The conscious mind likes to ignore and repress that shadow that lurks within. However, our smart body, our innate, and intuition part of the subconscious and cellular memory remembers everything. In 2020, we will explore, just briefly the most common imbalances lying below the surface--a gift waiting to be seen and healed--for good! ❤️

ALLERGIES - Martel

This response results from an inner cause and is often the way that my body uses to tell me that I am living in a state of aggressiveness and hostility toward a given person or situation, depending on my mental interpretation of what I am experiencing specifically. An allergy is therefore a defense and a sign that my ego is protecting itself. My great sensitivity wants to give me a signal that something or someone is hostile to me, that some danger is afoot. I no longer feel safe. Allergies (including hay fever) are similar to asthma, but the reaction is located in the region of the eyes, nose and throat instead of in the lungs and chest area. What am I allergic to? What is making me overreact so much? What is the real cause of this irritation and of my body’s strong emotional response (snuffing, teary eyes, feeling the need to cry?) These are all responses from my emotional system, the liberation of emotions suppressed by my body’s reaction. It is my body’s reaction to something, a sort of mental symbol, because my body is trying to reject, obliterate or ignore what is bothering it.

Imagination
"Immerse yourself in artistic and creative expression - Playfulness"
🌿
Your subconscious mind is the playground of your imagination, which waits to be called out by your willingness to unleash the bonds of personal convention and societal restraint, to challenge and surpass the usual limits you've placed on yourself regarding artistic expression. This means nothing less than to release your sense of identity and stretch the boundaries of your creative mind. It's not a matter of believing--or disbelieving--that you have talent for any kind of creative pursuits. It's a matter of surrendering to the imaginative impulse that's begging to be expressed in some form.
So drop underneath those restrictive beliefs, and tap in to this most natural drive toward creative, artistic expression, perhaps something you've always wanted to do but have stopped yourself until now. Feel it in all its depth and dimensions, then throw yourself into it--whether it's singing, dancing, painting, drawing, writing, or some other path. This is food for your heart and soul. Don't put it off any longer. It's time to take the plunge.

Recipe of the Month:
🍃 Strawberry Shortcake 🍃

Bon Appetite!

Strawberry Shortcake

YIELD: 2-4 Servings
PREP TIME:  5+ minutes
Makes: 2 large glasses or 4 small glasses

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, gave me the opportunity to pick fresh strawberries in my youth. We joked that the U-Pick Strawberry Farms should have weighed us upon arrival, and at the check out stand. Yes, we picked a lot, but enjoyed many more right off the vine. I am sure the energy and vitality that those fresh strawberries contained was amazing! That is the inspiration for the Shortcake this month. I used heavy cream to make my own fresh whipped cream*--which only takes minutes to prepare, and doesn't contain all the preservatives, and artificial ingredients. Plus, you infuse it with your energy and vitality. What could be better? ❤️
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350, and lightly butter an 8x8 pan or 10 spaces on a muffin tin or even individual ramekins. I dusted each ramekin with "Wondra" flour. It makes turning out the finished cake very easy.

  • Using your mixer, cream the butter and sugar beating well until the mixture is light and slightly fluffy.

  • Add the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla and mix well after each addition.

  • Using a sifter sitting over a small mixing bowl or large glass measuring cup, sift the flour, salt, and baking powder into the bowl and then add the sifted dry ingredients into the wet ones. Gently fold together, mixing until flour mixture is incorporated.

  • If you have a "disher" or food scoop, scoop about 1/3 cup into individual tins or ramekin dishes. If not, whatever method you find most convenient for your style of cooking or baking.

  • Bake 25-30 minutes for the 8x8 pan or 15-20 minutes for the muffin tin or ramekins. The cake should spring back when touched, or using your cake tester or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  • Serve slightly warm with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.

Cathy's notes: I like this shortcake recipe. It is not too sweet, and any extra cakes can be frozen for another day. If you choose to make your own fresh whipping cream*, which I highly suggest, begin by chilling your work bowl and metal whisk in the freezer or refrigerator--15-20 minutes. When ready, pour 2 cups or 1 pint heavy whipping cream into your chilled work bowl, and whip, adding 2 Tablespoons of sugar, and a 1 teaspoon of good quality vanilla. Whip just until the cream begins to form stiff peaks. This recipe will keep well for a week or more in the refrigerator.
Bon Appetite!

Solitary Thoughts . .
"Nothing is Random"
Just when we think our linear-intellectual 3D minds have things figured out, something unplanned or an undirected indiscriminate thought or idea, pops into our minds, out of the blue. So nonsensical, the brain hardly understands its meaning or knows what to do with it. Anyone ever have that happen to them? Many times? You know it well?

I have a client/patient who I worked with about 5 weeks ago. When I received her history questionnaire, I saw in my mind’s eye, a pioneer woman holding a rifle—aiming at someone or something, ready to defend something unspecified but near and dear to her in a most ferocious way. Confused yet? I was.

Push the Fast Forward button. I still see that image. (Click)
Every Truth passes through three stages before it is accepted.  In the first it is ridiculed, next it is opposed; in the third, it is regarded as self evident.

Biological Decoding Here Today
Conflicts and trauma are sometimes obvious and sometimes not and make their presence known to us as dis-ease and imbalance in our lives; manifesting in our body.  Weight issues or acne are obvious to most, but what are the traumas, loyalties and imbalances locked away in diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or behind simple allergies and minor illnesses given labels or the diagnosis's we receive at the doctor's office? Do you want healing or just relief?

The premise is easy. Disease and sicknesses are "nothing more" than emotional conflict(s) or trauma, --lessons to learn (that may be passed down from our ancestors) running in an "invisible" field of energy unknown or unrealized to us until it emerges as our brain's (the ultimate computer) solution for the disturbance deep within our psyche. More simply, the first law of Biological Decoding states: "Every pain or disease originates from a conflict. The conflict is an unexpected, highly acute, and isolating shock that occurs simultaneously in the PSYCHE, the BRAIN, and part of the BODY that corresponds to the type of conflict. Discovering the conflict aids the brain in sending messages to repair the body".

If we are human, we all have unresolved emotional conflicts. Heal them for yourselves--heal them for your kids and break the pattern. Biological Decoding goes hand-in-hand with our allopathic medicine today which addresses the mechanical aspects of our disease.

How can I help you today?

The Biology of Decoding is an amazing tool to assist in the discovery of the root cause of dis-ease.  This discovery and decoding opens the door to healing, deepens spiritual understanding of who we are and releases limiting beliefs and patterns.

"If the mind doth bend, disease can end."
