June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month

This is a time to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and other brain issues that affect many people.

CEO Dr. Mary Matteucci Ouimet Receives 2024 Professional Achievement Award from Marquette University

Pillar Health and Kenosha Community Health Center (KCHC) are thrilled to announce that our esteemed CEO, Dr. Mary Matteucci Ouimet, Nurs ’86, Grad ’15, has been honored with the 2024 College of Nursing Professional Achievement Award from Marquette University. This prestigious award recognizes Dr. Ouimet’s outstanding contributions to the nursing profession and her unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare in our community.

School-Based Lead Testing

Pillar Health/KCHC is proud to be part of a collaborative effort with Kenosha Unified School District and Kenosha County Public Health that provided much-needed lead testing to 28 children at Head Start KUSD on May 22.

Spotlight on Tracy Margetson: APNP-BC at Kenosha Community Health Center

Tracy Margetson joined Kenosha Community Health Center in February 2024 as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber-Board Certified (APNP-BC). She brings a strong educational background to her role, having earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN-FNP) from Chamberlain University in December 2023, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN-RN) from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in November 2020, and her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN-RN) from Gateway Technical College, Kenosha in December 2010. Tracy is fluent in English and is passionate about patient-partnered care.

In the Community

Pillar Health and KCHC were thrilled to participate in the 58th Annual KAC Golf Classic! ⛳ Playing in this event helped raise nearly $35,000 for KAC's essential programs and services, which create opportunities for the personal growth and success of persons with special needs in our community.
