Virtual Patient Journey Program: Our Voices, Our Stories
June 9-10, 2022

“Our Voices, Our Stories”—a national wound care patient experience conference. This unique two-day learning, outreach, and knowledge exchange event is funded through a grant from the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada, led by Drs. Ide Costa, Catherine Phillips, and Michelle Spadoni of Lakehead University, and Dr. Pilar Plazas of Queen's University, in collaboration with Wounds Canada.

The purpose of this conference is to bring together citizens impacted by complex wounds, researchers, health and social service providers, educators, community leaders and policy makers. This event will provide an opportunity to listen to individuals’ and families’ stories of the impact of hard-to-heal wounds on their lives, identify the gaps and synergies in wound care provision and identify areas in which holistic wound management can be enacted.

Memorial University Lymphedema Study
The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of physical activity levels, benefits and barriers, preferences, and quality of life of individuals living with lymphedema, with a secondary purpose of exploring the impact of COVID-19 on this population. Participants will be asked to complete an online survey that will take approximately 40-60 minutes.
Children and Young People with Lymphoedema
A Survey for Health Professionals, Academics and Researchers
There is a new ILF project on education needs for health care professionals working with children and young people with lymphoedema. The ILF hopes that the findings from the project can inform future developments by lymphoedema program educators, academic organizations and corporate partners who do so much to support lymphedema care.

The purpose of this survey is to give health professionals an opportunity to share their views regarding what education and learning resources would be useful to you in preparation for treating Children and Young People with lymphoedema (CYPwL).
Note: This survey is therefore quite detailed and may take up to 20 minutes to complete.
