Dear Friends & Supporters of Bnai Zion Medical Center,

The last 24 hours have been a relentless test for Haifa. The ceasefire with Iran has done nothing to stop the rain of fire from Lebanon, and our city is bearing the brunt of it.

On Wednesday, Hezbollah launched an 80-rocket barrage targeting Haifa and its bayside suburbs, wounding at least seven Israelis. A 17-year-old boy was hit by shrapnel on his way to a shelter, while a 77-year-old was injured by shattered glass.

Just hours later, the terror group launched a massive barrage of around 90 rockets, pushing the total number fired that day to a staggering 175. It was a day of unrelenting, city-wide attacks.

These attacks are not just statistics. They are our neighbors. Our families. The same people who are now being rushed through our doors.

The relentless attacks forced us to make a difficult decision: relocate our operations to a protected facility on the outskirts of Haifa, near the Druze village of Isfiya on Mount Carmel. We did this to keep treating new patients and to continue the rehabilitation of the overwhelming number of casualties generated by the war with Iran and Lebanon.

Keeping this new facility running has already cost us over $300,000. We’ve had to hire security to protect the site, purchase and transport equipment we couldn’t use from the main hospital, and continuously transport critically injured patients to our new location — all of which is extremely expensive.

We urgently need your help to sustain this lifesaving work:

  • ICU beds and monitoring systems
  • ER medical beds
  • Surgical and trauma equipment
  • Specialized burn and orthopedic tools
  • Specialized ophthalmological equipment for the wounded
  • Portable imaging and diagnostic machines

Every minute matters. Every donation saves a life.

For over a century, Bnai Zion Medical Center has been Haifa’s hospital. Today, with a ceasefire collapsing and rockets once again targeting our city, we have moved to a protected facility on Mount Carmel to continue our mission.

B'Shalom and with deepest gratitude,

Healthcare For Israel - Bnai Zion Medical Center

P.S. The ceasefire is unraveling, and the threat to Haifa and northern Israel is greater than ever. Your donation today will be used tonight to keep our new facility running and save lives. Please give now.
