Kissimmee Gateway Airport and AVCON, Inc. Host Electrical Safety Seminar for Employee Training

This month, Kissimmee Gateway Airport hosted an airfield electrical safety seminar, conducted by Mr. Carl Johnson of AVCON, Inc. 30 airfield electricians were in attendance receiving recurrent training, with the purpose helping attendees reacquaint themselves with how to identify hazards that exist with airfield lighting systems, provide safety awareness and education, and assist with troubleshooting and repair methods. Thank you to AVCON for working with us and helping ensure our airport staff is equipped with the knowledge necessary to remain safe on the job.
