President's Message

As the summer heat settles in, I’m excited to share that plans for our upcoming fall conference are nearly finalized! Our Board of Directors has been working diligently to create a dynamic and enriching experience for all attendees. This year’s theme, “Shaping the Future of Sleep Medicine in Maryland,” reflects our continued commitment to advancing the field and fostering collaboration among professionals.

The conference will take place at the Maritime Conference Center near Baltimore and will span a day and a half of insightful presentations, networking, and professional growth. We’re curating a strong lineup of speakers and content to ensure an exceptional experience for everyone who attends.

It’s also time to renew your membership for 2025. We’re committed to making your involvement in the Maryland Sleep Society valuable, and we look forward to your continued participation.

Looking ahead, our President-Elect, Dr. Brian Robertson, will be leading our Board Nominations Committee. We are seeking passionate individuals who are interested in serving on our Board of Directors. If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out to Susan McConnell or Charis Deadwyler at mss@ramdocs.org.

As always, if you have any questions or ideas regarding our Society, don’t hesitate to contact me at mss@ramdocs.org.
