Used Aircraft Maintenance & Marketability Analysis

Transactions for Asset Insight's tracked business aircraft increased 1.5% during Q3 2021, compared to Q2. Availability continued to decrease and the average Ask Price increased for the first time in four months in September.Year to Date availability has decreased every month since June 2020, and down 47% year over year.

The listed fleet's Quality Rating saw little change in September, improving slightly for the month, but deteriorating 0.7% for the quarter, and 0.9% year over year. Interestingly, the Quality Rating for the for-sale fleet remained within the 'Very Good' territory, but compared to Q2, more near term maintenance events are due for the listed fleet.
